FoA 2026103 - After Dark
Tune
AFTER DARK
The city locks its doors
when the sun goes down.
Smart people go home.
We don't.
She speaks to things
that don't have names.
I listen.
Somewhere between the motel lights
and the end of common sense,
we stopped pretending
to belong here.
The night knows us.
The cops know us.
The ghosts know us.
That's enough.
Let them tell stories.
Let them wonder.
Every town needs a monster.
Sometimes it comes as two.
